I've set up an Ascent server for just a few people to play on. Most of the time, the players will be playing single-player. At most, there might be four on at a time.

I'd like to find a way to make the higher level mobs kinder and gentler. That is, I'd like to make it possible for a lvl 70 player to go up against a lvl 70 elite mob. Right now, I've tried a lvl 70 warrior and a lvl 70 priest against a lvl 51 elite, and it's a pretty close battle. There's no way that we'd be able to touch even the minions in MC.

Are there any configurations available for this? If not, I'm not afraid of futzing with the SQL tables if someone can point me to the right fields.

Thanks.

you could edit the creature proto thats alot of work yes but i can't think of another way to do it....

It won't be as much work as you'd think. I just have to come up with a suitable formula to soften them up a little and run a perl script to create the new sql input file.

Thanks.

Just keep me informed in your progress, because Im doing the exact thing and SURE is a lot of work and tweaking the database, say you nerf one elite but what about the instances and those quest that are groupal, for a example you go to silverpine forest and get the quest where you have to kill Arugal in Shadowfang Keep, It says its suggested for 5 people the one sql that come to my mind is of /5 the colums of health and damage, and voila you have nerfed the elites for a solo quest. BUT in making these you have created a cheat place cause your new mobs will give a lot more of experience also the loot you get from normal elites and so on...Thats why is a lot of work! is not just nerfing but adjust other things too.

I have doing this so far for all the quest in Eversong Woods and Ghostlands. If you have more questions just PM me.
