Some Bands for Me (Update)

Ok, so I have to be honest with you guys. I've been pretty absent from RaGEZONE for a while, and the Music Lounge mostly. So I'm going to fill you guys in on some music that I have been discovering this past 3-6 months. I've been to a lot of shows local and vendor. Some of these bands may sound weird coming from me. Rest assured I have listened to most of these bands through and through. Some I have found to be, possibly, some of the best acts and bands out there. So here we go.

Kings Of Leon - These guys are fucking amazing. This band has entered my top 10 of all time. They are incredibly talented and god damn can they play live.
The Black Keys - Possibly the best blues rock act there at the moment. AND they are a two man band. They fuckin rock. Period.
The Sword - One of the best new Metal bands out there. Great stuff.
Circa Survive - Really good progressive stuff. Anthony Green has a very unique style both in music and voice.
The Sound Of Animals Fighting - Once again, Anthony Green is awesome.
Devin Townsend Band - Awesome shit. Former front man for Strapping Young Lad.
Daft Punk - Great for smoking too. Good electronic stuff too.
Amy MacDonald - Great young singer from Scotland. Amazing voice and talent.
Jason Mraz - Simply badass. This guy is great. He's got it all.
Aesop Rock - Awesome. Don't really know how to classify this guy. Good Hip-hop.
El - P - Great Hip-Hop and rap. He's an artist/producer.
Saosin - Almost forget Anthony Green's other band. This guy is amazing.
Diablo Swing Orchestra - FUCKING AWESOME.
Does It Offend You, Yeah? - Very interesting band. They are great. Especially when smoking.
The Lord Weird Slough Feg - Awesome metal band from Pennsylvania.
Robert Randolph and The Family Band - This guy plays slide guitar so that automatically makes him a badass. But, christ this guy can rock.
My Morning Jacket - Amazing rock band.

And I just have to give it up to,TECH N9NE. I'm sorry to all you metal heads, but this guy is a fuckin gangsta in every since of the word. Love this guy's rap.

Enter Shikari - They have potential.
Cold War Kids - They are pretty good.
Bloodbath - Awesome side project of Mikael

I have to say Kings of Leon are a bunch of bastards... they have changed SO much from a few years ago... They used to be indie, now the label changed them to play rock...

They just sound like they're "trying" to be a rock band....

Other then that, it's a solid list. I've seen most of them live, great stuff.

Saosin Basically got me into live music.

I saw them at TOC 2006 With Tacking Back Sunday + UnderOATH.

They melted my face.

Circa Survive, Minus the Bear, Aesop Rock and My Morning Jacket are fucking aces! Oh, we all know Tech N9ne is the shit.

You should check out Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. I don't even know how to classify their music, but listen to this. It's my favorite song from them so far.

Yeah I'm really enjoying Anthony Green. He is an amazing vocalist and musician. Circa Survive has a unique sound. I like it.
