I have the server running...(WYD) using VirusKings guide.What I need to know is how to get the client to see the server...when I click on the launcher in the WYD-Virus folder...it says "application failed to start...cannot find JPGLIB.dll was not found.."

Also..I have downloaded the full english patch. What am I suppose to do with those files please?
Requesting revised guide on setup of WYD. 1st part is fine (how to set up the server using Hamachi)...second should be how to get the client to "see" the server...and 3rd..what the patches are for and how to implement them.

thank you for any help as I have searched the posts and keep seeing the same questions...but no answers.
This is a great game and I appreciate the people who have worked on getting the files and guide(s) together.

I know I'm close...but just a few (probably very easy) steps away from getting the server up and ready for connections.....Please..If anyone can help, it would be great.

i think that u have the same problem, what me!
when u start BISRV.exe what it shows? it shows CONNECT servers or no? if no then your client also will not see them... thats what i`m haveing...

but if it shows in this exe then u need to copy your serverlist.bin file from TMSRV folder to client folder! that must be the problem!

and one more. if u use virustheking files, then how he says, u don`t need any patches, run WYD.exe by applocale, thats it!

Thank you for your reply! (Highly appreciated). I thought of that...(the serverlist to the client...and I already have copied into client files) but still client will not see the server. Any other things I could try? Thanks again !!

When I start BISRV.exe, DBSRV.exe, and TMSRV.exe, ...BISRV shows my server in "connected server" list. But the game client still shows "no server" even after replacing the serverlist.bin in the client files. Any ideas guys? Thank you for any reply,

Thank you for replying. All ports are open. and I tried to launch the client via applocale, but it still wont connect. If someone could tell me what version of the client to use..(currently I have tried 6.13...6.16 and the latest one. I have tried OpenWYD and Supreme Destiny client. I tried the serverlist editor to edit serverlist within the client...I successfully set up VirusKings server package...all the files in that are working...and TMSERV reports 1 server ready for connections (it sees the port)...its the client that I cant seem to get to cooperate. When I edit the serverlist within the client then execute....the login screen is blank of servers...or has a server but will not connect. Please, if someone could msn me..or make a detailed guide (what client to use...what files to edit (ie language files)...how to set up the client.."A dummies guide to WYD servers". That would be great. And if any of you out there have a working server...plz share the knowledge. Thank you all. I know these may be issues that may have been already discussed...I'm just not getting something right...a walkthrough (live on msn would be awsome...)

Update: I have also tried a different server package...one made for MySQL..it's an OpenWYD, Supreme Destiny server emu...that has given the same results...emulator running and the client unable to connect.

Okies...Using VirusKings' server pack....the server is running and I can login to server 1 using NPKO....and it shows : Admin login success access level 10
Now...how to configure the client (Version 6.13) to connect to that server? I am using Applocal to excute the WYD.exe and choosing language (4th) from the bottom. (Also tried the second from the bottom)...I have tried replacing the clients serverlist.bin already....but no success. Any ideas guys?

download it edit the url and ips, if u need in u webserver create one serv00.htm an put this:

1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1

and put in URL u url like this:

and click on update.
if u not have one webserver use this url

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

now in IP Address put the ip if u have put in localip.txt of u TMSERV and click on update.

You only need to edit Section 2 of URL and his mermbers, for u need only one member.

Thank you for replying. I have downloaded serverlist editor. I'm just finding it a little bit difficult following the instructions...but i'll keep trying. Can you go into more detail about the editor? When I open up a server list I see (and this is for an example only):

Also guys...I'm thinking that maybe the settings of Hamachi may play a part....current settings are:

detail config: Manual configuration

address and port: (192.***.*.**) Port: 8281
my IP issued by my internet provider

should it be listening on port 3000 or 3306 ?

I have included the serverlist editor to my guide, with URLs too..but lets see your problem, all you have to do is try to run the server with your local, or global IP because hamachi doesnt work sometimes.

At this moment...all I can do get the server ready for connections...the client still refusues to see my server. I've tried using Hamachi....I've tried using my local IP...I've tried editing the serverlist.bin within the client....I've tried everything suggested...if anyone can help with setting up the client....that would be great...if not...then getting the server ready for conections is as far I can get.

what should i do to get connect server ? i cant use hamachi or 168.xxx.xxx.xxx cuz then i get DBSRV/TMSRV error messages. I copied serverlist.bin from server files to client

After, put your serverlist.bin created by the new .txt in your game!

not need these all configs, u only have 1 server simple do this

Only these option port 3000 e used by BISRV(Not necessary to run, BISRV is a Billing Server)

its all no good. I have the server running...i have the newest client and I have client 6.13 (in a different location on a different hard drive). The most I can get is: The server is running...ready for connections...I can login with NPKO and ADMIN account logs in. But its the game client itself...it WILL NOT connect no matter what I try. Plz...anyone...someone...if you have the answer....share. Help me..so I can help others...please.

AH HA!! Finally...success ! (Sort of). Yes, the server is running...and yes I can now connect to that server. However...everything is in Korean...and the camera refuses to pan all the way left or right. I did apply the English patch and some of the controls can be read now...I don't think all the items can be read nor the NPC dialog.
