SQL 2005 - Database Backup Request

Hi,
was searching the whole day for this, nothing found.

I got Windows Vista so i downloaded SQL 2005 to host a Kalonline Server.
I installed everything and now i wanted to restore my database.
The SQL Server Management now want a database backup file (*.bak , *.trn)

Now my question, how can i creat working database backup file for SQL 2005 Express Edition? I think it isnt the kal_db or kal_auth file ^^

My selfcreated (with computer) file doesnt work, even not after i renamed it to *.bak / *.trn file

please try to help me out
