SQL problem

When i go to attach the database, when i keep cliking on the +
it goes:
- Console root
- Microsoft SQL servers
- SQL server group
+ (Local) (windows NT)

only problem is when i ry to open (Local) (windows NT) i get a error msg connection failed. Is there something i have to do before hand? i've just been following "Lone_uk's DETAILED SETUP GUIDE!" And dont know how to fix this problem. :smileysex

prob a better question would be how do i make my comp a mssql server to beginwith so i can log into it?

OMG im so stupid.... i spent ours trying to configure and edit ect to get it to work.... n all i had to do was restart my computer so the server started... ARGH how dumb.
