still need help with null error

Hi.

I still need help with null error and i tryed to change all pw of e/config/engine to the same so i only changed the ip in the config to 127.0.0.1.But weird is when i unpack e.pk out so i pack it back so i change pw i get smaller file so like i unpack 589 mb of e.pk and i pack it back with other pw and i get 517mb of the file???

why are you editing e.pk anyway?

I am not editing it i am just chnging pw so i need to unpack it then pack it back only then i set pw but i dont edit anything in.

are you sure you have the right password? xD the computer is not trying to trick you... if its messing up your doing something wrong... but why change the password anyway if your not gonna have it an open server theres no need if you are gonna have it an open server... please stop now we dont need more people running servers who have no clue

Hm but if i have e.pk file and have pw for example 1111111 and config.pk 4444 and engine.exe 222222 then i would get null error or it isnt matter if these 3 dont have same pw? And btw i download enigne cus that original whitch comes with old client dont work with kocp.

if your pass in engine is GUNSKFI#ESFJ2 for example your e.pk and config.pk passwords should be GUNSKFI#ESFJ2

Ok i downloaded that engine u gave but are this test server files clean or its repack?Cus i need clean files thx man.

Hm weird i add ur e.pk and config and engine in and only changed ip than pack it back set pw HUNIN#FILES11 and replace with old one then i run server i open kalonline.exe i get the conection was lost from the server of if i run engine i get null error???

EDIT : O and btw i use winrar to pack pk files back so it compress them so maby winrar sux.

Hm i do like this for config to change my ip unpack with winrar decrypt it with swordcrypt change ip pack it back so add to archive and give name config.pk then set pw and ok then its done and i change this new config with new one.

hm... should I say how I do?
well, I'm boring atm so I do :

-Open config.pk with winrar
-click with right mouse button on xlate-e.dat
-now click on the window on the second line and than ok (unpakc in the following folder or so )
-now move the xlate-e.dat over the DAT-Tool and now I got the xlate-e.txt (or use swordcrypt)
-now I edit the IP and save it
- now I move the .txt again over the DAT-tool and I get .dat (or use swordcrypt for back ...)
- now I drag&drop the xlate-e.dat in the open winrar window
- on the window that appear I clock on Extended (??don'T know right the english word ^.^)
- here I click on Setup Password
-I inser teh passwort and click on OK
-READY

so you can edit what you want and don'T need to unpack the whole config.pk like you did it ^.^
