This band seems pretty interesting if all there songs tell storys, I like that kind of music that has a real message.
I mean like a meaningfully video.
I read the video description, you should too.
Taken From: In Sorte Diaboli
Joachim Luetke explains the concept, symbolism, and story behind the video: "The Sacrilegious Scorn" is mainly a paraphrase on Christianity's core-symbolism and motives.

Such examples are the Roman soldiers gambling over Christ's garment, the mockery of St. Michael the Archangel, driving Satan out of Heaven by stepping on him and pointing his sword onto him. Now we see this reversed, when the inaugurated Antichrist is doing that to St. Michael.

I prefer the term Dark Emperor - not Antichrist, for the battle of "light" and "shadow" reaches back far beyond Christianity.

We also witness the inauguration of the Dark Emperor in the Temple of the Baphomet, seeing him taking the oath as the new sovereign while celebrating a mockery of the Last Supper. The story culminates in the Dark Emperor showing up in front of his followers, bringing out blessings. The Empire of Darkness is then established.

The overall look of the video is a bow to the legendary, unique style of Roger Corman, especially his adaptation of The Masque of The Red Death, featuring the unforgettable Vincent Price. www.hammerfilms.com

This lifts the clip to an additional meta-level: The mockery of using an early 60's technique to visualize "The Sacrilegious Scorn" for a present day audience.

Yeah Dimmu Borgir are the best of the best when it comes to Black Metal.

hahaha really?

edit: thats the funniest video ive ever seen, i cant stop laughing

oh my got at 1:40 when the guy crosses his arms. I'm in tears

I can assure you I rock harder than all of you combined. See that band in your sig? Seen them 5 times.

but dimmu borgir, are a joke.

You might rock harder than us all combined, but I'm a huge fan of rock and Metallica too. I was also going to watch them at the "Rock Am Ring" but the tickets got sold out in ilke 15 minutes @ the interwebs.

And yeh, they might be a joke - but their drumming owns.

Stfu and sit down, poser boy. This isn't about who's louder and who has a "tougher, more metalhead-ish attitude". Gotta say, from all black metal out there, Dimmu and about the only ones I'd listen to willingly.

i was simply responding to the accusation that I did not like rock. I'm sorry if i offended you in some way but there was no need for foul language.

a bold challenge indeed sir! You really must have an assurance, so speak to me of such an audacious conception! For it is no debatable matter, sir, that I rock the hardest in all the land.

Not big on the whole 'black metal' thing.

Seems a bit too theatrical.

Metallica is a joke, dimmu borgir just owns.

I did not see any foul language in his post at all.

it is foul because it is offensive and I did cry many tears over it

but i dont see how anyone can call any band a joke after watching that dimmu borgir video. i am literally still laughing from it.

Just because you've seen a band 5 times doesn't mean shit. I'd like to see you actually try to back your words up and prove to us, "how awesome you are."

To me you seem like some 13 year old wanna be trying to act tough, but failing miserably.
