Only ESTsoft can really answer the question that's why.

It really all depends on how many channels you want, how many players etc. etc. The logical answer is as much CPU power and RAM as you can get. For the O/S the database is best on windows XP or better yet 2003 server and the gameserver on centos 4.6 or later.

It runs best using 2 machines but you can run 1 windows machine with vmwware and centos inside a virtual machine. You do need a pretty powerful machine with a lot of ram though.

It depends entirely on how many channels you want to host and how many players you want to support. You can just about get away with a small number of players and 1 channel with 512Mb of ram on the centos machine (or vmware centos machine) but it is all about testing and trying it out really.
