TD's Latest Files Causing Chat and Graphic Errors Mir2

Hi all,

I'm running TD's latest files and when I use the most recent exe I get a chat graphic error when I hover over someone who is speaking:

And a graphic error when hovering over someone standing infront of an NPC:

I've tried replacing the exe with a random one I found and it stops the above errors but instead all the NPC and other char names appear black:

Anyone have any suggestion on how to fix either of the above two problems? Tried searching for numerous key words and none seem to pull up what I want
