Here's a template i made a while ago, please post your opinions on the look.

The font for the links dosent seem to match the "type" of website.

The text could have been better. The buttons have the scanlines which kinda make it look bad. Better fonts can be used.

Is the brown stuff suppose to be different sized?
I suggest some bitmap fonts for the navigation buttons.
