The Character Select issue...

Wondering if anyone knows how to fix or disable the character select? When a player clicks it the server crashes. It's fixed on some servers and it isn't on others. Those "others" can't find the problem. Anyone know the solution or are people just going to be annoying?


Seriously though..need Character Select issue fixed on server. Any help is very much appreciated.

you cant disable it and btw what rev you use?
it shoulnd give error's if you get akai's server

You CAN disable it..some people have fixed it.

Just wondering if anyone has figured it out and is willing to share their information.

You can disable it the source, we did it in our server. But I can't remember how we did it.

Well, the ghosts are bugged on my server, so I got dyeprey's item mall and I'm making it so everyone gets 100 points by default, and making the skill books cost 1 point each so people are able to get their skill books. That goes live tomorrow.

The only really big problem I have left with my server is this character select bug. We have been re-compiling the server trying to fix it, but to no avail.

If anyone knows the code section, and even better, what to replace it with or what to erase, I would appreciate it.

We are number 12 on the top 200 in just 2 weeks of up time, and I would really like to get this bug fixed. Been looking everywhere lol.

/bump please if anyone knows the answer to this... keeping this thread visible. Seems almost all of the private servers have fixed it, and I will probably find it on my own by the time someone replies lol
