i know you guys probably dont really care, but im happy and i need to tell someone lol.

see ive been going out with this girl Emily for about 2 weeks, i dunno why but i really really love her, i mean it makes no sence yet i love her morethan i have ever loved anyone in my life.

we have barely anything in common.
shes blonde (i normally go for brunettes)
i am 6"1 and shes 4"8

we are completely different, yet i love her so much. i dunno, this is one of my first relationships where everything seems perfect. maybe too perfect?

i dunno what to think to be honest, im just overjoyed.

You can't tell if its love after 2 weeks. Give it a year and then lets see if you still feel the same way with her.

This is going to sound like I'm rambling, so bear with me.

First of all, tell me WHY you love her. There are so many cliche reasons guys use and that's why so many divorces are happening (highest rate it's ever been, actually) today is because guys use those reasons and girls fall for it.

Not only that, it's also because a majority of guys base what they want on mainly looks -- for whatever reason they wish to be that way then .. well, I guess that's their reasons.

If you genuinely like a girl, then you should not only be able to come up with genuine reasons, but be able to express anything to her. Secrets aren't something helpful in a relationship, unless it's shared between you two. Keeping anything from him / her can be dangerous depending on how serious of a secret it was and how long it was kept until he / she finds out.

More than likely, what you describe as love is what's portrayed in movies and now seen in everyday life. It's merely just infatuation, what you think that love is. I doubt, HIGHLY doubt, you can get genuine love in two weeks -- HIGHLY. Feel free to correct me on this.

Love is also based on the moments you have together. Things like fighting, if I remember right, are good for a healthy relationship. You shouldn't have too many things in common with someone as then the relationship might begin to bore you and then you end up dumping her like .. yesterdays fish or something.

If you base what you like of a girl on materialistic reasons, then I bet you that relationship won't last. It might last days, weeks, months, or even years -- but it won't last.

it most likely a infatuation
but it can grow to love in a year or two,think about the girls heart as you get to know her ;] and look in on yourself and see if u really like her for her personalty rather then her looks
