The Outerworld World News Threads

Hello everyone. As everyone knows, there has always been an influx of international news threads and stories that are submitted into The Outerworld. Most of which are either dramatic tragedies or useless news that someone finds funny. Either way, they don't really have to do with the integrity and purpose of The Outerworld.

The staff and I are trying to get the situation figured out. But as of right now, any news stories that are not actually news-worthy or that don't have any meaningful content that can be discussed will be deleted and you will be infracted. This thread serves as a fair warning.

P.S. When I say that the news threads should be able to be discussed, I don't mean that everyone comes in and says "aww how sad" or "lol he/she deserved it." That's not a discussion and will not be allowed.

I'd just like to elaborate on & revise this rule. From here on, we are going to allow news threads, provided it's not a direct copy & paste. It seems to me people were posting them, simply for the hell of it, maybe even as low as gaining post count!

The point about simple comments, such as "aww how sad" or "lol he/she deserved it." still stands and will not be tolerated.
