I was watching something on TV and had to laugh when this was brought up...

Did you know the first line the the United States constitution has a grammatical mistake?

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union..."

More perfect? What is MORE than perfect?

You could make the argument that it was meant to inspire people..like "Give it 110%".

Really..what football player would walk out onto the field and scratch their heads..."Did he just say 110%...I do believe that's quite impossible. Hey, Coach!" *gets tackled*

Somewhat funny...it made me laugh.

Ermm...I guess it'll take rocket scientists to comprehend what the hell you're talking about.

What the hell are you talking about? :O

We weren't comprehending anything, just pointing out a humorous grammatical mistake. Although I do believe that back then grammar was less conservative..meaning it wasn't exactly like ours today.

Still..what are you talking about? :p

Times change, people wrote differently back then. Right or wrong is just our present opinion. At least it didn't start "Uh, yeah, we teh ppl of teh US, er, yer we teh ppl of the US in order to h4x teh the world...".

Can you imagine what people NOWADAYS could come up with? Yikes!
