When i make an account and select Ktest from the server list, it just stops at the loading screen. I get no errors and all the gates are connecting with each other.

I have added screenies to show my server has no errors, and the other 1 shows which screen it freezes on.

Any1 have any suggestions on how to fix this? thanks

recheck your config files.

i know its a pain, but if you work methodically it gets easier.

while you are at it you could give the server a unique name, if ur feeling ambitious:P

anyway, i digress.....

i work through the servers folders, check that all the config ip in the address files etc are to your liking (127.0.0.1 or whatever your ip is). check ALL ini files. if necessary do a search within notepad.

My setup it easier in on sense as i cant use 192.168.x.x as i'm non-nat.

i searched all file for 192.168 changed them to 127.0.0.1 then did a search to my ip.

check that address paths are correct, some details are spread throughout the files.

All my ips are at 127.0.0.1, just checked them agen 2 make sure lol. Ill change the server name later tbh :P i just want 2 get my server working >.<.
Any other suggestions on how 2 fix it plz? Thanks

I had the same problem when i first set the files up.

I changed the 127.0.0.1 IP to my routers IP 10.0.0.4 in all the files and they worked like a charm :)

Worth a shot M8 :

Thanks

lol changed all the ips to my computers ip, i get no errors, and it still stops on the same screen =-(

hi

done a setup with the updated files last night, then noticed TD updated again... anyway fresh install and no problems.

ok i did notice an ip 0.0.0.0 in one of the setup files, shouldnt be a problem as iirc TD uses it that way, i think it was for rungate.

cant see any problem as i entered correct ip and all works fine.

the joy of having several machines=headache at times!!!!

installed sql server (m$ sql 2005 standard on xp pro)
extractous LOMCNM2.rar filous to directory (mirserver)
same with Legend of Mir.rar using the uptodate files into another directory
copied updated files over to mirserver
starting with dbserver, being the top in the directory tree, i check EACH file and change address to 127.0.0.1 with notepad.

i did this for every directory, alittle more work is needed in m2server with setup.txt file.

in the gamegate directory use RUNGATE.EXE instead of gamegate.

extract latest database file, the one parter. am now wondering if 2 files, as TD uses, may be better.

import into m$ sql, set password, user, and title.

i then setup mslv1 server launcher, as you can start, stop and reboot all in one click.

thats server side sorted: 'ish'

download, if not done already. mir23.exe from and install it.

i installed into a directory called lom, then after installation and update made a copy of it as a back up.

i then used ragezone client for maps into the mir23 map folder.

copy the clients map folder into the m2server folder.

copy the latest of TD's CLIENT into your mir23 directory and m2server.

and off you go.
