Trouble running SQL 2005 on dedi server Mir2

Don't know if anyone will be able to help but I have searched the net and tried various other forums but to no luck.

I am trying to run SQL 2005 on a dedi server that requires SQL 2005 so I can't use 2000.

When I run the M2Server I get the following error:

StartTimer exception: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

I have tried unistalling it, reinstalling it checked all the inis and txt files and just can't figure it out. I really need to be able to figure this out as I don't want to have to pay for a dedi server that I can't use.

Any ideas?

is everything connect right? E.g. SQLID and SQLPass in the inis? Is it all connected to the right folder ect? and have you restored the db into SQL?
