This is for Windows Vista. I do notice that there was one posted not too long ago. But I began making this about 4 hours ago, but for some reason RaGEZONE would not load. [I guess they were updating or something..]
So this is how it works.
Your computer is basically a non-experienced noob. Except for the things people teach it. Without all those system files and such, Your computer would pretty much be a peice of junk.
Everything you put onto your computer, you're basically teaching it a new skill. That is to say, if you put too much of the same thing onto your computer, it'll be like I said before, a peice of junk.
JDK [Java Developers Kit] is basically a program that allows the editing of Java Files. Without it your Java Files would look like this..

So, without JDK. You would not have a Runescape Private Server.
Download JDK Below. Make sure it's JDK 6 Update 3.

Once you hit download, it'll say "Accept License Agreement" and the top of that page, click the circle there, it'll reload the page. Scroll down a little and download the one that fits your Operation System, [Windows, Linux, or Mac]
Make sure to download it as offline. It'll say Online Installation or Offline Installation. Download it as offline.
Once you have Offline Installation checked, click the orange button at the top or bottom of the page that says "Download selected with Sun Download Manager"
After it downloads, open it and it'll open in Sun Download Manager
Wait for that to download it, then it'll be on your desktop.
Double click it on your desktop, and it'll go through the options of installation, just keep hitting next until it begins the installation. Wait for it to install. Then download a Runescape Server, if you already have one. Just scroll down a bit.
Here's a list of Runescape Servers, download whatever one you want.

After your Runescape Server is downloaded, extract all files and open up the extracted folder. You'll see a bunch of files. Download this compiler.

Replace it with your old compiler in your Runescape Server folder.
Now, open the compiler, and it should say..
Now it should work. If it doesn't try going to..
C:\ProgramFiles\Java\JDK1.6.0_03\
Copy and paste, [COPY!!! DONT DRAG!!!]
Copy all the files in the JDK folder, and paste them into the Runescape Server file, then it should work. Afterwards, Press Ctrl + Z and itll remove all the backup files you pasted into the Runescape Server folder.
If it doesn't, you need to change your classpaths. Which you will need to find another tutorial, because I'm not 100% sure how to do it. Use the search button on this site.
