I just wanted to show you all an easy fix for people who play Private MapleStory Servers This is how to get xfire to detect your Private MapleStory exe.

What your going to do is to go Start> My Computer> C: Drive> Program Files> xfire

Find the xfire_games file open it with notepad and click on edit and then pick Find type in MapleStory find

Code:
PlayingDetectType=ByWindow
ProcessWindowTitle=MapleStory
RunElevated=1

And remove them click on File then Save exit xfire all the way dont just Log Off make sure to exit xfire then restart xfire and then go to Tools
Detect Games If MapleStory is alreayd in your list of installed games click the Manual Setup then pick the path to your folder where your Private MapleStory is installed to and then click the apply button and go to the folder where your Private MapleStory is installed to and Start the MapleStory exe make sure that the name of the hexed client for the Private Server is named "MapleStory" without the quotes and now the Private MapleStory game should be detected by xfire down fall of this is you have to go back to Manual setup to change it back when your playing the Real MapleStory game for nexon servers.

This will give you hours for MapleStory when your playing on Private Servers.

Credits Me FlowMotion

I can't recover my FlowMotion account So till a RageZone Admin helps me I'll have to use this account.

Well if you read what I say you would know now wouldn't you anyone who uses xfire knows that when your playing MapleStory that is for Private Servers you dont get hours for it on xfire because xfire Dont detect the hexed exe for maplestory the key in this is to remove the 3 lines in the xfire_games file and then make sure that the exe for the Private Server is named MapleStory this is only if you wanna get hours why your playing a Private MapleStory Server if you dont wanna get hours then dont change any of the settings you will have to do theses settings everytime xfire updates just so you know :D

Hours means nothing really some people like to show off how much of a loser they are in life by having millions of hours in games this is for them people.

Re: [Guide]Get xfire to detect Private MapleStory Clients

Re: [Guide]Get xfire to detect Private MapleStory Clients

Why would you want to show off your hours?
Maybe those epic nerds would be like "ZOMG HIS A 1337 GUY CAUSE HE PLAYED 180 HOURS THIS WEEK"
