[TuT] Gunz Runnable and Editing MRS Files - FULL TUTORIAL

People have problems doing runnables so I just decided to make a topic about making a runnable. Now to start.

REQUIREMENTS
1 : A Gunz Client. I recommend the India Gunz version but since im confused if the runnable may work or not. I'd you go with the BR Client.You can update it if you want, won't matter. Download BR Gunz from here.

2 : The latest and compatible Runnable files. You may use Rotana's runnable. It's for download here

3 : MRS Unpacker. You would need it to unpack/pack your .MRS Files. [ File in bundle pack ].

4 : Photoshop CS2 [ DO NOT USE CS3! CS3 SUKS! ]

4 : Photoshop DDS Utilities and Thumbnail DDS Viewer. [ File in bundle pack ].

HOW TO CREATE A RUNNABLE
1 : Extract the Client and update it if possible.
2 : On the DESKTOP, right click your BR Gunz Client Shortcut and look up 'Target'.
3 : You will see something like "C:\Program Files\LevelUpGames\The Duel\theduel.exe"
4 : Edit the target and make it something like "C:\Program Files\LevelUpGames\The Duel\theduel.exe" /game "<map>" "debug" 0 0
5 : Rename <map> to the name of the map.
6 : For E.G., if you want the map to be Town, rename the target to "C:\Program Files\LevelUpGames\The Duel\theduel.exe" /game "town" "debug" 0 0
7 : Be sure that the MRS MAP file in your 'Maps' Folder of your client is in lower case. E.G., make it 'town' instead of 'Town' or it won't create a game.

NOTE : YOU CAN ALSO DIRECTLY DOWNLOAD MY FOLDER OF THE RUNNABLE. Password is 'bison'. Without the ' ' and in lowercase.

USING THE RUNNABLE TO EDIT YOUR MAP OR ITEM
1 : Use the MRS unpacker provided by me and install the Photoshop utilities.
2 : Unpack the MRS files you wish to edit.
3 : Right click the .DDS files and open them with Photoshop.
4 : That might be enough to explain for now, I'll add more when im bored.

yeah that's true people say cs2 is much better but i think not.

Whats the big deal. CS2 IS much better than CS3. Supports more plugins and you get more support from people on the net if you ask about CS2 bugs and problems...

Use any other gunz client and rename the Gunz.exe to theduel.exe. That's fine :-}.

so i can use runnable and enter my map and then i can edit map file and check it in game with out exit?
