[Tut]How to PortForward with Dlink Router. (With Screenies)

Hey. I'm here to tell you guys how to portforward with a dlink. This may not be a popular router but I just feel like helping out
Okay.
Step1: Log into your router (I think thats how you put it) by going typing in your default gateway. Most people use 192.168.1.1 but I use 10.1.1.1 so just go into your cmd and see.

Step2: Click on "Advanced" on the top bar.

Step3: On the left side, there should be a log of options. Select "Virtual Server"

Step4: Next to "LAN IP" Select your LAN IP and then click on "User" and then "Add".

Step5: Now, type in the ports you want to portforward. For each Port Map, type the port you're forwarding. Here are the pictures.

Step5: Now it should show up like this.

Step6: Follow these steps;
1. Click back on virtual server
2. Click on user
3. Highlight MapleStory
4. Click on Add
5. Click on Apply and you're done !

Did you try going on to 192.168.1.1 ? If that doesnt work, go to CMD, type ipconfig/all and check your default gateway and type it in the address bar.

what do u mean by the lan ip thingy. Mine doesn't have, it says private ip only.

Well then you can make your own static ip then. Just click on LAN IP on the side boxes

omg dlink menu sucks
netgear is wayy better cuz u get to choose ur internet speed and bandwith and can always change ur ip and mac anytime. plus the skin is awsome and not cheap html like this

Hey, great tut it helped me a lot, it didnt show me how to do it, but gave me a hint. I spent a day figuring out how to Port Foward with DI-624. If you need help i can assist with that type.
