its pretty simple leave all the ip configuration in the server alone ( ips should be 127.0.0.1) just edit the serverinfo.xml when editing the serverinfo.xml do not change the chinese text for server, and channel it will cause your client not to connect to your server, just change the ip (127.0.01) to your LAN ip meaning you can play with people in your home network.

and you have to finish all the beginner quests to be able to see others.

i did change that, but my labtop still can't connect to my server
my desktop is the host. do i need to change something else or forward ports? i just want let my roommates connect to my server
