Making your own runescape server
Difficulty: 2

Let's get started!

Step 1 - Getting your source
To get your server working, you need a source. Click Here For A Download List! I perfer the following servers:

Once you have done that, you have completed Step 1!

Step 2 - Getting JDK6
You will need JDK6 for your server to work. So Click

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

to download it using Windows offline installation.
Click

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

to download it using Windows online installation.

Once you have that downloaded, your server can work! Your done with Step 2.

Step 3 - Choosing a client
You can choose one of 2 clients, or both.

-MoparScape

I'd go with Silabsoft, but it requires a download. Silabsoft has real skillcapes, and added re-colours and more.

Once you have chosen a client, your done step 3!

Step 4 - Getting No-IP
First, Go to the No-Ip Homepage.
Then select "sign-up now!"

Then Submit and confirm your email adress. Then download No-IP Duc.
Then Select Your No-IP and click hosts/redirects. Add a new host:

Once your done that, open no-ip duc and checkmark it. Open your firewall and turn it off so other computers can access it.

Step 5 - Running And Editting
Open your server files you downloaded in the beginning, and double click runserver.bat. if that doesnt work, you did something wrong. It should say: running pimpscape [or any other] on 0.0.0.0 port 43594.

Making yourself owner/admin/mod.
Open characters and select your username. Find this: character-rights and it should be 0.
0=regular player
1=mod
2=admin
3=owner

Editting your client:
Open your client.java [server must be off]
Edit the thing you want to edit. Save and Compile your server by selecting compile.bat.

Did you try both installations? Online and offline? if it doesnt work, go to sun.java.com and find it.

How do you get it to work on moparscape?
I have it saying it running but how do you get it online?

when i try to connect it wont connect it says requsting main page then it says tryign again 10 secconds and it dose that over again And how do other people get on the server?

Sorry for sounding like a noob but Ive got my host and everything runeyscaper.servehttp.com and ive run the server an that seems fine, wheres the page where i make a log in etc ?? Plus ive got that now but it says connection error on it :S
