[Tut]The Real Way how to port foward with a linksys router for your pserver

Go to run and type in cmd

push ok

your system32\cmd.exe pop up then yu type in ipconfig

yu should see your ip

go to yur browser and type 192.168.1.1
login and go to applications and gaming
and port foward these ports

and there yu go that should work

Why does everyone forget the world port?! (8888) Anyone I know who dosn't have this port usually can't get past character select e_o

i have not router and i cant pass chracter select when im click on him its getting back to login screen and say for me unable to connect to the server game !!
and im using modem not router!!
can i open any port!?!

my setup page is a lil different its red/black layout.. was curious does it normally take a while for the new ports to be Applyed?.. cus mine doesnt seem to be going through -.-

Yep that's true.. My friend tried port forwarding and getting a non-hamachi server... He was always like I CAN'T GET PAST CHAR SELECTION SCREEN HELP PL0X!!!!!!!!!! i'M LIKE... i SAID PORT FORWARD PORT 8888 YOU NEVER LISTEN. Hes like its not needed! Im like try it and it works.

EDIT: And linksys is easy to port forward.... Routers like US Robotics are hard to port forward... There isn't a port forward tab like yours...
