[Tutorial] Quick 101 to Hex-Editing Gm Cmds

i keep seeing alot of post about this
so ok here we go a simple yet easy to follow guide to hex-editing

Step 1 ZOMG
get a hex editer i personaly use Next-Soft Hex-Editer MX and yes its in german and no i cant speak or read it just one i got used to
need a link google it >.<

or go here and just hit download and install it

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

once downloaded click on
[Weiter] = next
then the tickbox
[X] ich akzeptiere die VereinBarug = i agree
then hit
[Weiter] = next
again
[Weiter] = next
again
[Weiter] = next
then
[Installireren] = install

Step 2
open the hex editer (that was so hard)

step 3
open that MAIN SERVER EXE
like so

You will then See This dont edit NONE of that crap u see u do ull mess up the server

Step 4
USE FIND!
type /get
then ok

look at pic more info

you get this

Step 5 O.O
now changeing the commanders are easy
for this im going to change /addatk NOTE gm commands allway start with a / never EVER move it bleave me its 2 dam funny if u do
like so click on the right side on the comand in question
and type over the command

dammit now we got a prob <O.O>
i want my command to be /atk not /atkatk
what do i do its easy! click on the right side
at the end of the command we just made so u would click here /atk(a)tk on that hilighted a
now if u look on the left u see this

and zero out the rest of the command on left side look at pic

Step 6
now we have just changed a command now to save it

now if u done that right witch if u followed that u would have
the next screen u see is this, if all the yellow goes away it means its saved

now close that hex editer thats the redbox in the top right hand side on windows xp


pop the exe back in the server folder make shure the servers off at this point closed

and then test you new command in game
now goddam was that not easy

there it is as a downloaded with all pics just incase i delete the pics from me website yes i have a habbit of deleteing stuff

no 1 needs to know hex des aslong as they follow the guide
i still dont understand it my self just learn by playing with it all
you sould see all the messages on the server funky
the cw starting and finish messages are right ive also "inchanced" my dbs servers qurrys and got rid of the dam nucence warnings ect

thats simple use admin lvl 3 4 5 each cant uses commands as others can like lvl 3 cant port or use notice lvl 4 can lvl 4 cant use lord get and storate wile lvl 5 can i put a guide on here somewere about that read it

Hey when i edit my mainserver and save it........after it makes it .exe and it wont let me open it what do i do?
