Hello guys, welcome to my little guide ^^)

I'm going to get straight to the point.

1 - ) Go Ahead, pop in your GTA:SA disc
2 - ) Download SA-MP here:

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

(simply click the first link)
3 - ) Install SA-MP to the same folder as GTA
(DEFAULT: C:/Program Files/RockStar Games/GTA)
NOTE: You need to put it in the folder with the GTA_SA.exe file or you can't move on!
4 - ) Apply the downgrading patch to San Andreas (

5 - ) Open up SA-MP, then simply click the tab "internet" or "official" at the bottum.
6 - ) Double click the server you wan't to play, and hit connect!

I think I will buy the game now. I know its been out for ages now but I really haven't had a chance to buy it yet.

You should make sure you don't buy the one that comes from steam you wont be able to play online, I have the steam one but I got it in a Rockstar bundle with all sorts of Rockstar games for $29 <: (about 10 games?)
