Um xp problem

RIght i've got xp and so have my m8's however my m8s can play games that weren't made for xp. Forexample Rogue spear is for windows 95/98 but they play it on there xp systems. Can you tell me how they do it please? as i want to, too.

Rite click on the exe and change the compatability mode maybe? mite work dunno tbh
