when i run the server control i get this error...

unable to write to C:\mud3\mir300\!setup.txt.

after that im a bit confused dunno what to do so i go run DBsrv
and i get this error

2004-7-01 13:29:33 [win32 error] the selected path was not found
2004-7-01 13:29:33 Db Server finalized

what shall i do to make my f00kin game run?....



ps. my version of windows XP is danish so i have translated some of it...

use this eiserver 3 parts run the first and rest will extract with it
and also use this !setup.txt

the eiserver part.zip dosnt work it downloads a link which when i login it cant show it just says page not found...

and also im confused what to run what what to do... the SQL server 2000 was alot confusing i couldnt set a password and a ID so i just det it to nothing coz i got an error everytime i did it,

something wrong with ya comp then because this is using forum attachments which work fine
just tested em and all download and unzip fine

make sure u use winrar newest version to unzip em

lol these are the links direct from the forum

download those files into 1 folder run eiserver.part1.zip and it should extract all 3 parts into a folder and there will be the eiserver.exe

!setup.txt is for u to put in with the eiserver.exe just edit the !setup.txt to be your own

ok for some reson now it says

*MAP-CANT load one or more mapfiles: code=-1

is it coz i dont have all the maps?

is it coz my version of the game is f00ked?

and the DBserver thing with the blue button still says that [win32 error] path not found or something

i think u need to edit the map patch in the !setup.txt or i some maps are missing from your map folder.

sometimes start from fresh is good idea as more u fiddle to try get to work can make so much work

i almost sorted it all out it says gameserver connected blabla...
so now i load my game and...i cant make an account... a while ago i WAS able to make an account but now it shows some korean letters in the top left corner some server spelled in korean... and i cant log into it so it isnt mine.. >.< im stuck..............whine
