Update server L2J

is it possible to go around the updateserver? caus im trying to get my own server to work but if i update the client it becomes a lot of errors like creatures dissapering when hitting them and stuff

run L2.exe in system folder instead of the LineageII.exe file

You won't be able to connect to the a l2j server if you don't run the update

i got so far that i was about to chose server then the game crashes

how do u get magics and skills to work, can i do something myself and what do i have to do?

learn C++, and buy somme books for that.
