For a normal spider like this it was pretty big I've seen bigger but it was big for whatever kinda this was.

I hope I never come across a spider that big, fattest spiders I ever came across were like wolf spiders but in California, they weren't really big as the ones you'll see if you wiki them. They moved fast and kinda leaped I'm not sure if wolf spider or jumping spider is what they were called.
Oh well but I HATE SPIDERS!!!!

yea i think in california we only have jumping spiders, the most venomous is black widow here.

But if anyone can tell me what this spider is.

Details
They are usually grey or light brown.
Their webs are usually found in bushes or lower ground areas.
Their webs kinda look like a cave where they hide in and then burst out whenever they catch something and pull it back into their "cave".
Their back has about 2-3 black strips on them and they are kinda fuzzy.
They have black eyes and the biggest I've seen was about 1 1/2 inches.

There are so many spiders like that at my school. They make huge webs too, but they are weaved almost perfectly, so they're always fun to look at!
