Alright to recently i installed windows 7, and im trying to run the server like i did on XP but when i open CentOS with VMware i get this error...

jjkilla1215 - VMWare - File to Large Error - RaGEZONE Forums

Ive also checked the size of the files their under 2 gigs.

If your virtual HHD for centos is under 2Gb you would barely be able to fit Centos 4 in it.

What format is the drive that the virtual image is on? FAT and FAT32 are not going to be any good as both have quite small file limits (i thought fat32 was 4gb but i may be wrong). The drive should be formatted using NTFS but you won't be able to to that is it is the Windows drive without reinstalling Windiows. You can check the format type on the drive properties.

How would i do it? I know how to in XP, but not in Windows 7. Or are talking about in VMWare it self? Because i think you mean like right click, then properties and so on.

*Bump* I stil need help with this =). If possible please tell me what i can do.

EDIT:/ Sorry for the double post. Hadent realized i had posted >.< (Really tired)

I found a solution online for this
Just add to your VMX file and thats it. (PS: Remember to open it in notepad)

Code:
diskLib.sparseMaxFileSizeCheck= "false"
