Hello World,

I am having some trouble getting my MaNGOS (TBC - 2.10.6448) server from accepting both local and internet connections. My MaNGOS server setup followed Ski's and DJRavine's guides.

When I use 192.168.1.4 as the realm address/dbinfo inside SQLyog (mySQL5), only my brother (192.168.1.2) and I (192.168.1.4) are able to connect and play.

However, when I use the no-ip address of ?????.servegame.com as my SQL address/dbinfo, only my cousin ( ) and I (192.168.1.4) are able to connect and play.

I want to be able to allow my cousin, my brother, myself, as well as my friends to be able to play. Any help regarding this matter would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much!

Just asssign DNS names to the servers, and all will be working...

How...well, I allready explained that a milion times...so suggest you hit search ;)

Yes, setting DNS works like this...My question is, how do you play wan and lan with the default server port changed to 3725?
People connect to my public ip with setting my address followed by :3725, but you cannot do this with lan...any ideas anyone?

my.dns.com:3725 = my.dns.com:3725
With DNS there is no WAN nor LAN...THAT is why it always works, and never causes realmloop...

And I think this was my last answer about it, I am realy fed up answering the same question for almost 1.5 years....happy searching...
