What do some .dlls do

I was looking though some ijji Gunz files and i was wondoring what some of the .dlls do

like

HanPollForClient.dll
HanReportForClient.dll
HanAuthForClient.dll

i think i got a good idea but im not verry shure so could someone expalin what they do
