What song would you concider as a sountrack of your life?

Fade To Black By Metallica.

Because?

Life is sucking right now and Im not feeling so great. I've got a crap job, and I don't know what to do for a career anymore. My family keeps pushing religion on me in many different ways. Im saving up to moveout and get away from it all. Overall my lifes been terrible since the start of grade 5...Now at 20 it feels like everything is toppling over me and I just want to get away =[. You can only take so much growing up in a violence prone house filled with uneducated lunatics.

I want out, one way or another I need to get away =[.

Actually three songs can pretty much describe my life and what i've been feeling.
1. What I've Done(Linkin Park) because lately i've been regretting lots of things i've done in the past and i just want to fix old wounds and "wash away what i've done" :P
2. Sunday Morning (K-Os) because the message i see in this song is getting throguh the everyday and arriving at the future you want which is something i want.
3. Shoot Down The Stars (Gym Class Heroes) because its uplifting and gives a message that you can do it, you jsut have to lift your head up high and keep trying. This connects to me a lot because i have those days when i'm just really inspired and i'll keep going and trying no matter what.

I'd say mine would be "System of a down - Lonely day" because sometimes I feel lonely and I simply hate it :P... well not the song 'cause I love that one but I don't like beeing lonely.

Im trying everyday to be a better man and respect everyone without distinctions so my choise would be: Bob Marley - War

What life has taught me
I would like to share with
Those who want to learn...

Until the philosophy which hold one race
Superior and another inferior
Is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned
Everywhere is war, me say war

That until there are no longer first class
And second class citizens of any nation
Until the colour of a man's skin
Is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes
Me say war

That until the basic human rights are equally
Guaranteed to all, without regard to race
Dis a war

That until that day
The dream of lasting peace, world citizenship
Rule of international morality
Will remain in but a fleeting illusion
To be persued, but never attained
Now everywhere is war, war

And until the ignoble and unhappy regimes
that hold our brothers in Angola, in Mozambique,
South Africa sub-human bondage
Have been toppled, utterly destroyed
Well, everywhere is war, me say war

War in the east, war in the west
War up north, war down south
War, war, rumours of war

And until that day, the African continent
Will not know peace, we Africans will fight
We find it necessary and we know we shall win
As we are confident in the victory

Of good over evil, good over evil, good over evil
Good over evil, good over evil, good over evil

Um. Not sure if there is one. Well, the beggining of it would be nice and calm, yet the middle and last parts are missing, for they haven't been played yet.

Ignore that part, I think something like Lost in Thought by Jon Hopkins, then, Landscape by Divinorum (Yes yes, I know, they are tracks not songs, like I care, music is supposed to be music, not some whore's emo poems)....nah...too many opinions I have on my life while being in different moods.

I'd have to go with something from Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here. Just fits incredibly well right now.

I think that the song that would be a great soundtrack for my life would have to be Closer To The Heart by Rush. Dunno why, but it reminds me of the ever changing circumstances that affect my life.

Btw, this should be moved to the Music Lounge.
