No it was probably on tv, the thing is, very few satelites are actually equipped with a telescope, because it's kinda pointless, seeing as you cant see through cloud very easy from space or buildings or just about anything... and theres 6 billion people in the world, dnt think they got enough satellites to spys on us all phew!
