Which is nicer?

Well I just got my Photoshop CS3 .. I didn't read any tutorials yet.. I came up with this two signatures. Which one should I just it?

First one is better, but you definitely need to take some time, and just read over some tutorials, find the style you like and practice.

yeah, defo check some tuts and psd's to see how to improve, if you dont know where to find good tuts or anything just ask around I gues, best check wm-studio, they have realy awesome work there, way beyond my capacity and probably most here if not all here.... xD

but nice try I would go with the one you posted not the currented one, cuzz of text, to much colours in it...

I don't really like .. either.

One, they're both too big for my liking.
Two, the text could use some major work.
Three, both styles are the same -- the background is .. ew.
You could also try new effects, filters, brushes, and even C4Ds (they truly do bring your work out).
