Hello will this server work on Debian 4.0 Serge?

It should work on most linux types but you will have to try it to find out for sure. I know several people have tried it on Ubuntu and that works so given that Ubuntu is Debian based you shouldn't have any problems.

You will need to use the "alien" command to convert the cabal.rpm file to a .deb file so you can install it though.
