I have a legit XP, yet when I start it up it asks if I need to check out if my XP is legit, if I press yes it checks turns out ok, goes back to the screen where I gotta log in, if I say no it stays at the screen where I gotta log in.
Now the problem is, everytime I log in it keeps asking this, any help?

This happend to me a few times a few years back. it was a corrupted registry and another time was a WoW server that I was setting up for personal use and it had a bad virus.

If you have a legitemit XP cd, or pc backup disk you can try that:ehh:

I never keep those CD's.
Any other way I can fix it?

There was a program I use before to boot windows even if the OS was currupted, please allow me to look around my cd's to get you the name BTW I had a bootleg copy of it so I will send you the name on your mail
at this point only way I can think of resolving the issue is new OS installation or getting into windows with a repair disk they bypass the welcome and you be in a windows enviroment to change pass/cd key or try to repair windows.

nvm I'll get it myself

The guy's problem didn't get fixed, anyway I know a way to get in, even though explorer doesn't work, its enough for me.
Thanks alot for your help guys.

Well the conclusion is Genuine windows sucks ^^ get a pirated one

You can try to check this:
WinKey + R > type "msconfig" > select startup tab > look for some wgatray.exe or something like that, disable it if you find it.

You have to close explorer.exe fast?
I'm guessing you can manage not having easy access to the desktop and folders.

If this is your problem then I really suggest downloading the wpa killer logging into safe mod as admin and running it.
Did it with my pirated windows os for vm usage.

No, you see nothing is available when I get logged in, nothing is here except for that popup, I randomly press windows+u so some windows programs start-up go into help > press a internet link then type into the bar C: shit gets messed up but atleast I get into the system(oh just went to that site of yours haha) I can't log in in safe mode.

Wow it doesn't allow you to go at least to the sage mode options?

NVM, guys seriously fuck it.
I'll deal this way computer looks cleaner. :p:

Gen download winternals and boot of the cd attach it to your windows drive and use its recovery methods to revert it back to a few days before it happened, after that defrag your drives.

You never keep your legitimate XP Discs? Uh huh.. Its as simple as a windows repair with the originals.
