I may be way wrong, but it sure seems that most Christian based religious organizations have become discredited. Whether it's by their methods or their actions - people are moving away from the standard forms of worship we once held so important.

Now, question is, what's next? Is it possible that Christianity itself is in danger of extinction? Is there something better, bigger, or just different coming our way?

Just wanted to see what everyone else thinks. I have thoughts - but this is plenty to get it started. Please, let me know what you think.

No one religion is the 'best' - it's all up to the individual's belief.

Heck - there's even made up religions that has a strong following... like that jedi-thing o.O

Extinct, It's still a pre-dominant religion, even though I don't believe it. It depends on who believes in what... and what's next? your telling me, Just because Christianity is becoming "Wiped out" you want something else? It's called religion, It's a belief, not a freaking game...

Christians can be various "factions" ( Catholic being one of them , i know the others but do not recall the english name and I'm not going to bother searching them for this )

same way for Muslins , there are a lot of factions

now the problem is that there are cults ( like Tom cruise one , Scientology and 20000000000000000000 others ) that the only function is to fill a gap some ppl need ( and well empty some bags :P $$ )

The World is becoming too much materialist for a few religions and nowadays we usually remember God , Alla , allmighty one , when we got a gun on our head or a knife , we're at bed or something bad happens

P.s.: Despise all my family being catholic , I'm agnostic atheist

Without CHRISTIANITY, what's next? What you you meant by this?Anyways , i don't think Christianity can be extinct or wiped out cause it's growing bigger as well as losing believers.
yes i agree :D but still its not the best religion coz they never unite as one
In my opinion , there is no best religion .Either the religion is real or fake , that 's it.

organized religion sucks bollocks

Why do you say so? You meant unorganized religion doesn't sucks?

Yup . I agreed with you. There can only be real or fake religion .

I still view religion in general as fairytale nonsense so.

lol......

With what Akaruz said on this.
You are just referring to the state of affairs in teh United States and as people said closing down a few lil institutions does not mean is the end of Christianity. It's too big and well designed to go down so easily.

But overall - religion does not matter really. It's just a set of rules and regulations set up ancestors for the smooth running of the society and most of these rules are violated by us. Most dont even care tbh.
