It was announced that all Xbox 360's will have a 3 year warranty on hardware failures that displays the ring of death.

Imo it's decent, but not that great, fact is that my 360 is gone for repairs on the DVD drive, it simply wouldn't run any game properly, constantly giving the message that the data was unreadable, even going as far to giving me a message that i should put the game in a Xbox 360. The drive is obviously messed up, yet the warranty that goes beyond my 2 year warranty, wouldn't cover it, nor will it cover any other hardware failures that won't display the 3 red lights.

A bigger drive

Microsoft is talking internally about another version that comes after elite that will simply have more storage. The sources have confirmed that there have been some talks about 200 GB version of the console but the product or the timeframe has not been finalised.

If we have to guess we could expect such a console closer to Xmas date and there is still no sign of dropping the prices of the console.

Well, give them a break they are very worried about Nintendo today and its super successful Wii and the chaps are still losing money on every console that they sell but they get the money back from accessories and games and let's call it even.

no its 200gb

I just replaced my HD with a 120 anyways >.> screw waiting for Microsoft to do it.

And my 360 should get a 5 year warranty because with how much me and my friends play :pinch:
Should cover my TV too... Gonna burn that out soon.

Basicly it's not a reputable site, and considering they aren't even sure makes it extremely unlikely.
Most rumors are just rumors, this is the first i've seen about a 200GB version, the chances of it being true is just to small to consider. Besides what use is the 200 gig version, 120 is more then enough.
Hyppocrit?
What? Did you even read anything? Seriously this does make NO sense at all.

360 Elite is a decent deal i was gonna buy one when i got my xbox 2 weeks ago but its $80 extra for a 120gb hd and an hdmi port. Not really worth it imo. Most TV's dont support 1080i that most people own i should say. Most decent hdtv's with high contrast ratio (ie 3000:1 or higher) are only 27 inches at max. No point getting an 800:1 tv for high def gaming. Also theres a HDMI converter on the way right now theres also some ways to mod your xbox to use HDMI/DVI

I think a 120GB is good enough, I have it and I still have 94.4 Gb left after download so many demos and gmer pics and themes, they Already Made a huge difference, 20 to 120, Do you think U need a 200Gb Hardrive, Isn't 120 Enough?

Well out of my 120 I currently have 43.6GB left, so... I may need more. But I also get random crap which I have no use for, not to mention for just about every game I have at least 13 profiles all using a generally large amount of space, sucks having friends that won't just go buy their own :sweatdrop

So you gonna explain why i'm a hypocrit, or do you just throw out random words with no purpose?

I would have definetly bought the elite version, HDMI isn't just for 1080p (1080i is supported by the VGA cable), but it's also a digital signal, which is definetly better for short distances, so even if your tv is a HDReady, then you still get a better picture from it.

As for modifying the 360, that isn't so easy, it's not like you can just put a HDMI port on it, the system just wasn't build to support it.

And the 120GB is popular for people who rent movies, 20GB is filled easily then, personally i only have 3 GB left, which isn't enough for a HD movie if i'm not mistaken.

If you make any mods that are noticable yes. For me im just replacing the fans for better ones/Changing LED's and puttin an internal SATA drive in witch is completly reversable/

Not if you actually doit properly normally they tell if its been opened by the locks on the back if the tabs are broken it voids the warrenty. If you unlock it using somone #9 bolts and modded cd case parts then it doesnt break anything :)
