Is there a practical way of having your ZLocatorList.xml accept hostnames? what exactly is it that refuses the hostname, Matchserver or Gunz.exe/theduel.exe? Would there be a practical way of editing either of them to accept hostnames?

I would think so, but private servers, at this point, do not work without pure IP addresses in ZLocatorList.xml. You can have hostnames everywhere else, but not there.
