A brave new world - asking for help in the beginning

Hello Community,

I'm planning to make a C9 private server (I already have some private servers, which aren't C9) so I thought the best place to ask help is here. I really don't know where to start, so my first and only question is:

Where can I find a full tutorial about installing a working server file + client? After that, I'll find a way to explore the whole C9 world... I see some clients and server files but I think those are different in something. So if you could send me a tutorial, then I'd be really really grateful!

At the moment there are 2 clients/servers, the first one is an old client/server, the second one is a little newer with more content. I'll be explaining where to start for the second one, since the first is obsolete.

I got some error at the end of the process...

So I try to run this first .exe but I get this error: SQL Server is not connected.

But why? :O I also have internet on this machine and the IPs also correct.
