If you go to the DARPA website you can read about projects they are working on that involve faster-than-light propulsion systems.

Remember, CERN recently discovered faster-than-light particles, and may be announcing the discovery of the higgs boson in a few days.

I think its safe to assume we might not be limited by the speed of light in our distant space missions.

I watched the whole video about this (nasaames). They're having a great numbers of candidates here, and breaking down these numbers of candidates is a lot of work. I guess some of you didn't checked out the real story. But they're really close into configuring this as the number 1 candidate that is habitable (kepler 22-b).
