Re: Official Azure Emulator & CMS help thread

Hi!

I have a very big problem with installing AzureWEB

I have done everything as the writer said,

First tested it on my desktop as it stood.

I even did the composer thing..

And now on XAMPP, both shows Error: 500

AzureWEB is not longer continued by Azure Group.
AzureWEB is maintained by me. The author and unique developer of AzureWEB

Only rockster34 and Flicker helped me. But they aren't from azure group.

The 500 error is fixed. I commited today. I'm asking you to try to use AzureWEB today.

Cheers!

Actually the 500 error still exist for me

  1. If installer gives blank window, or error 500 that means Apache didn't started successfully / or PhP Module wasn't loaded correctly.

I don't understand if the azure web server already has Apache, how can Apache do not start successfully, btw I have XAMPP closed, and no port is blocking 80 or 443. And from what I can see Apache HTTP server is on for me.

With the screens appears apache running correctly.

Does you installed COMPOSER from getcomposer.org, and AFTER THAT, opened the FOLDER WHERE IS composer.json OPENED CMD (using Shift + Right Mouse Pointer > Open Terminal Here) and typed "composer install" ?

Remembering you need Composer to AzureWEB works.

Please don't use Built-In PhP From AzureWEB for composer.
Use your normal PhP.

Composer is for Windows, you don't need install The COMPOSER with PhP from AzureWEB. COMPOSER is coded in PhP so need PhP.

After installing composer you need go to AzureWEB folder and in CMD type "composer install" for the COMPOSER configure AzureWEB

Oh okay I selected the only php.exe path I have (I guess thats the normal one) And the installer installed via php.exe in xampp, i hope its right.

Btw when I open azureweb.cmd, i can't write anything on the cmd, I can just shut it down (X)

You need open Windows CMD.

Go the folder where is composer.json, click with SHIFT + Right Mouse Pointer in some location of the folder, will appear "Open Command Prompt Here", when open, type "composer install"
After finish open azureweb.cmd, and woala. enter localhost.

Re: Official Azure Emulator & CMS help thread

Asking to thread be closed. Since i'm the original creator of Azure Project and Azure Emulator, since Xdr abandoned Azure (he was original creator from 2011).

The reason is simple:
1. Azure Group is dead, they aren't going to commit new updates
2. Azure Lastest Versions got to be really frustrating, bad, with security issues and jealous.
3. Azure Group aren't giving any support.
4. Is really better to people go to new emulators like Plus Emulator, IDK Java, (i'm not recommending Yupi because is under development)
5. Sadly other Emulators available are Azure, Mercury, Swift, Firewind with Exploit, Marshmallow, Gold Tree.
6. Sadly good Emulators arent finished like's Quackster wonderfull emulator, or The General awesome and powerful emulator.
7. Isn't good people continue using this emulator (Azure) since is outdated in security and with a lot of memory leaks, security issues.
8. Is really better people try to start using new emulators.
9. Rarely seeing new Releases about customizations and things for Azure.
10. If people want Help with azure, better creating separated threads, not secure.

Main reason is, Azure isn't anymore being released, and continued and supported, i see only few members helping on this thread Alozi

Thanks for understanding.

Asking for close, Droppy.

Which database do you use?

Because AzureWEB does not support all databases.

I recommend you to use Yupi Database and Yupi Emulator to make this fully work.
