If you have a budget of $700 for a car, you have a grand total of $100 to buy the car with after you pay for everything else.

Registration + stamp duty + taxes + insurance + 1 tank of gas = almost your entire budget, without even factoring in the cost of the car.

Not necessarily. I got all of that covered and the car out of the door. My 2000 mustang, which had a modified engine, new wheels and rims and a replaced sound system I got for $6900, including tags and registration and the works. You can find opportunities, you just have to look for them.

He got $700 for christmas. Unless he has a job, that money won't be steady income. He won't be able to pay for maintenance, insurance, gas, etc. There's so many things to consider when buying a car, and with $700 for christmas, you must be an idiot for buying a car. Atleast save up :huh:

My old car is totaled, and I am taking care of my uncle with cancer.
So I quit my job to move back home, and that's basically all I have for now.

I suggest this thread be closed, I solved my problems.

So yeah, my friend gave me his old car for free, well free for now until I get another job.

You could save up the money and get a car.
You could use the car for years and computer for 2 years and then the parts will being slow, if you don't check up on them monthly.

Well, it's not a brand new..but you can find one that's not too old and it's looking good.
But a Dacia Logan would be awesome...it's cheaper..it's like a dream machine but it looks like crap, so I'd suggest getting a Dacia if someone wants to buy a car..
