Creating a new pw server

Hello All,

I am a junior developer and I am looking to create a new server of perfect world so I and a few friends locally want to play the game between ourselves.

I have tried to create a server based on hrace009 1.55 server but there seems to be a lot of other material that might not be all necessary.

Could someone please guide me where I can set up a PW server (VM server).
I have read that 1.4.6 version is good so I don't mind installing that if need be.

I want to become proficient at it and I am willing to put in any hardwork needed to make sure I learn please. Your guidance is appreciated.

Hi,

Just as an update.

I installed a private server PW1.5.1. I installed this via VMware.

The server I used was ubuntu 12.04.3-server-amd64.iso

However I am currently facing a problem.

Could anyone help?

I am using winSCP but I get this error:

[h=1]Network error: Connection to “…” refused[/h]
Anyone knows how to get over this issue.

me too i create server 1.5.1 my prb server file didnt have iweb and prb maps if i leave first map to map world he didnt go

I have a few ideas.

are you using a new version of WinSCP?
