Mhm .. good to see, that my steps a few weeks ago wasn't that wrong as I thought.

Now i know why its telling me wrong version

there is a cfg file inside the Resource00.pak its reading it from there i can see that in ollydebug w/e you changed the Version.cfg file that in the root folder its still same i think i have to make extractor :| god damn it.. be right back after some time figuring out the god damn poop values....

This is only a patchversion, the real clientversion is in the binary (and != version.cfg). :mellow:


I don't know which rev this files are, but if its the old indonesia ones,
you probably will have some problems with packets from clientbinary (new ones).

11. Go to part 2 previous folder, into Res subfolder, extract both zips, GameRes and VillageRes.zip, both of their contents should go to dr/GameRes and dr/VillageRes for make the GameServer and VillageServer work.

I'm quite new to setting up a dn server(never used microsoft sql before, only mysql).
Anyways, I got most of the steps done, but i'm still not quite sure...

For Step 10, I'm suppose to create a PatchList.xml, but how do I import an xml into

For Step 11, I was never provided a VillageRes folder, so by common sense, do I have to create a new folder? Am I suppose to extract both GameRes.zip and VillageRes.zip into the same folder and overwrite existing files, then copy these files to both VillageRes and GameRes?

yeah i figured that after, but to get this server working there is 3 things to do

1: unpack the client because its packed with Themida
2: disable from the unpacked client hack shield because its connect to the original server > for check version
3: disable the hack shield from the server files x64bits files i hate that so much...

i got the server function client version check but its seems not only 1 so tuck poop, if i go to be able to disable all the checks we can login

that's what i'm doing now into the client Hack Shield calls

3. Unpack part 1, 2, and the file named DN_Database_adastmin.7z with the password adastmin. Copy ServiceManager to (?) a folder. Unpack part 2 to another folders, and copy the contents from 0003/Exe into a folder, overwriting some executables. Then, copy 0003/Config and the 0003/Info server to that folder. *was not clear*
4. Restore the databases with the corresponding backup files. Should be similar to this guide

I've only 2GB of RAM, so I didn't bother to download the files. 5GB is too much for me (my mobo only supports 4GB max). lol.
