According to your logs the database connection wasnt established properly. You used proper information in service cabal config?

Yes I used my MSSQL IP Address correctly with username and password. I used nmap to ping MSSQL from CentOS it says filtered but I already have CentOS Firewall turned off and I portforwarded 1433 just in case and it still says filtered on CentOS.

You said you had the 127.0.0.1:0 error too. Can you take the DBs from the ep8 rar and not the clean ones? Give it a try, clean those with x30's script.

I've updated the repack installation process to also check if wget is present to avoid a bug that happened to schneemann101 I believe. I have also added clean EP8 databases and a tutorial on installing MSSQL 2008 properly is available in the tutorial section.

I set up right now the DB with the original files,
i'll give you a feedback soon!

I've released my clean databases that have both the databases clean and the transcation logs. Use that. I updated first post.

I've just finished downloading SIMP ep8 client but I am stuck at the login screen I can't get to the channels.

I don't have a problem with the server neither SQL.

Is the error log showing anything? Not just the error log, regular log does it show you connecting at all? If not your firewall is bad or port forwarding is.

I did everything started but when I use service cabal status it says all are running except ChatNode, EventMgrSvr, Agent_Shop_01, LoginSVR, WorldSvr

Note: I'm not using Windows Firewall. I use Comodo Firewall.

I am pretty sure that is caused by the database,use the one with the server files and use x30 script or use Extornia's clean database.

bro i tested your repack on centos 5.8 32 bits (windows host) and didn't work ..after right instalation and right config i run comands for stop and start cabal,then i got all runnings only AgentShop,ChatNode,WorldSvr_01_01 stopped,i started them manual and work)but i cant login in server.ahaha lol some restarts and problem fixed ... thanks ^.^

Use LAN IP of Windows for SQL IP or forward WAN ip port 1433
