[Guide] how to edit costumes (.dds)

This goes out for those who want to put their server name on their costumes or whatever.
Note: You will have to get the ff:
DDS Converter 2 by Killuamel
Infanview by smarkies

First, try to open your Infanview
Let's try editing the m_ex_shirts_a.dds
Second, Open it with Infanview
Third, Exploring yourself would be great
Fourth, Save the Edited thing​

Note: this will be saved as .jpg file, this will the use of the DDS Converter 2

Five, Open your DDS Converter 2, find the m_ex_shirts_a.jpg
Six, Press the "Convert Button"
Seven, now that you have m_ex_shirts_a.dds, you're ready now for replacing it with the original file, copy the file​

Note: you should made a backup for the file

Eight, go to ..../textures/costum, the paste it here.​

Trial And Error.

This is how to put images to your costume


Opening The SG Logo ( because i will put this to the costume)
Click Image->Create Panorama Image

Click "Add Images"

Select what Image you like, For instance i will use this sg logo

Open it and press Create Image

Now tricky part,

Click "Edit" -> Create Custom Crop Selection

You Can Set your own settings here, for now i will use this setting

Then Click "Apply to Image"
Now you will have this, dont have to drag the image because it is so small

Click the "Cut" button in the toolbar

Open the costume you like , For instance i will use this w1_cdb_body.dds

Click Again "edit" "create custom crop selection"

Drag to the place where you like it

Now click the "paste" button
Now you will have that
Note: the sg logo that I used is not in the best quality

Ok, after click Save
It will be save as .jpg file
now use the DDS Converter 2 to convert it to DDS again
Now copy the .dds file and paste it in ...../textures/costum
Replace it.

bump? Haha last post is 2k10 lol if u want to add new costume use item editor then add the item in ranshop db
