Correct, RO (the emulators and even Aegis) is a kids toy when compared to Cabal (i should know as i used to be heavily into RO private servers). Linux and windows are both needed for Cabal as is MSSQL so there is a lot of knowledge needed before you can even start copying the Cabal files onto the linux machine.

There are plenty of guides around and i would certainly recommend my guides and my server repack if you have not done Cabal before as installation and configuration is far far easier. Check my signature for all of my stuff
