How do i connect my server upon a IP so i can have other people joining?

I got a quite strange question....well basicly, im just wondering how i could connect the server, and make it online? do i need to buy monthly servers, from a website and connect it upon the server ip or what?

Hello,

You can host server on your own PC with static ip or hamachi (Noob version).
OR
Buy dedicated server or VPS..
